Inbjudan till 10-årsjubileum av iaido i Finland

We would like to invite you to come and celebrate with us the 10th anniversary of Iaido in the Finnish Kendo Association. To mark the occasion, we are holding a seminar 5-7 February 2010 with the three main sensei who have helped us to develop Iaido in Finland, namely

Please find below the preliminary details for the weekend and attached an excel document for preliminary registration. This is not binding but will help us to organise the event better.

Date: 5th – 7th of February 2010

Place: Kisakeskus Sports Centre, Pohja (http://www.kisakeskus.fi/english.php)

Program:
Friday 5.2.2010
- Registration and free practice. People may arrive at different times on Friday evening
– Dinner
Saturday 6.2.2010
-Breakfast
- ZNKR-Iaido practice, all participants together
- Lunch
- Goodwill Team Taikai
- Sauna, Dinner and 10th anniversary party
Sunday 7.2.2010
- Breakfast
- Koryu-practice, own groups
- Closing ceremonies and lunch

A grading from 1kyu to 3Dan will also be organised either on Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

Family and friends are also welcome and there will be activities provided for those not participating in the seminar.

Transport: We have also planned to organize common transportation from Helsinki to Kisakeskus on Friday and back to Helsinki on Sunday.

Price: Price estimate for the whole weekend is 150-200euros. This includes 2 nights accommodation, all meals, seminar and transport to and from the centre.
Preliminary Registration

We would like to know the following:
Number of participants: Iaidoka and non-iaidoka/ adults and children
Grading: What grade (please remember to have a letter of permission from your own Federation)
Special requirements: Dietary restrictions/mobility/other
If you know your travel arrangements already, this would also be very helpful
