I helgen avgjordes europam\u00e4sterskapet f\u00f6r karatestilen shinkyokushin. T\u00e4vlingarna genomf\u00f6rdes i staden Tarn\u00f3w i regionen Lillpolen (som \u00e4ven \u00e4r v\u00e4rd f\u00f6r Europeiska Spelen 2023<\/a>). EM-arena var Arena Jask\u00f3\u0142ka, som nyinvigdes i slutet av 2019 efter flera \u00e5rs renoveringar.<\/p>\n

Det svenska landslaget hade fr\u00e5n b\u00f6rjan sju ut\u00f6vare<\/a> anm\u00e4lda till t\u00e4vlingarna. Tyv\u00e4rr s\u00e5 kom tv\u00e5 av dem inte till start och d\u00e4rmed bestod den svenska truppen i Polen av fem deltagare – Ali Hayder, Mirjam Bj\u00f6rklund och Sanne Larsson t\u00e4vlade i kumite<\/em> (fighting) och Adam Rog\u00e5rd och Andreas Tampe t\u00e4vlade i kata<\/em> (uppvisning).<\/p>\n

Vid det f\u00f6rra europam\u00e4sterskapet<\/a>, som avgjordes i Tbilisi i Georgien i juni 2021, tog Ali Hayder EM-silver och Mirjam Bj\u00f6rklund EM-brons. Och b\u00e4gge krigade sig till samma val\u00f6rer \u00e4ven i \u00e5r!<\/p>\n

Ali Hayder<\/strong> t\u00e4vlade i herrarnas viktklass 65-75 kg. I f\u00f6rsta omg\u00e5ngen st\u00e4lldes han mot hemmahoppet Mi\u0142osz Adamczyk fr\u00e5n arrang\u00f6rsstaden Tarn\u00f3w. Efter seger d\u00e4r f\u00f6ljde ytterligare framg\u00e5ngar mot Zsolt Ludszky (Ungern) och Kamil Berkowicz (Polen). Samtliga tre matcher avgjordes av svensken redan i f\u00f6rstaronderna!<\/p>\n

I finalen st\u00e4lldes han mot Georgiens Lasha Ozbetelashvilis i en repris p\u00e5 EM-finalen 2021. Tyv\u00e4rr f\u00f6r Ali Hayder s\u00e5 vann georgiern den h\u00e4r g\u00e5ngen ocks\u00e5.<\/p>\n

– Jag \u00e4r sj\u00e4lvklart besviken. Att f\u00f6rlora mot samma person \u00e4r inte kul, jag ville verkligen vinna den h\u00e4r g\u00e5ngen. Men jag har f\u00e5tt tr\u00e4na mycket ensam och inte kunnat sparra s\u00e5 mycket, s\u00e4ger han till budokampsport.se.<\/p>\n

Det blev allts\u00e5 ett nytt EM-silver f\u00f6r Hayder, som nu har VM i september som n\u00e4sta stora m\u00e5l. Det arrangeras ocks\u00e5 i Polen (i staden Kielce) och dit \u00e4r han ende svensk att kvalificera sig. D\u00e4r \u00e4r m\u00e5let \u00e4r inst\u00e4llt p\u00e5 att f\u00e5 revansch p\u00e5 Lasha Ozbetelashvilis.<\/p>\n

– Jag tror att vi kommer att m\u00f6tas i final d\u00e4r ocks\u00e5. Och d\u00e5 ska jag verkligen se till att vinna, fastsl\u00e5r Ali Hayder.<\/p>\n

Mirjam Bj\u00f6rklund<\/strong> t\u00e4vlade i damernas 55-60 kg. Segrar mot Shanty Jacobs (Belgien) och Sandra Nowak (Polen) tog henne till EM-semifinal mot ungerskan Lili Mezo.<\/p>\n

Mezo drog det l\u00e4ngsta str\u00e5et och vann sen ocks\u00e5 den efterf\u00f6ljande finalen. F\u00f6r Bj\u00f6rklund blev det allts\u00e5 \u00e4nnu ett EM-brons \u2013 tv\u00e5 stycken nu p\u00e5 lika m\u00e5nga senior-EM.<\/p>\n

– N\u00e4r jag vinner en medalj s\u00e5 k\u00e4nns det inte s\u00e5 mycket. Jag k\u00e4nner inte samma euforiska k\u00e4nslor som m\u00e5nga andra idrottare g\u00f6r. Jag bryr mig mer om min personliga utveckling, b\u00e5de mentalt och p\u00e5 mattan. Jag har fortfarande mycket kvar att l\u00e4ra och l\u00e5ng v\u00e4g att g\u00e5. Men medaljerna \u00e4r \u00e4nd\u00e5 ett kvitto p\u00e5 att jag tillh\u00f6r toppen, s\u00e4ger Mirjam Bj\u00f6rklund till budokampsport.se.<\/p>\n

  • Sanne Larsson<\/strong> n\u00e5dde kvartsfinal i damernas kumite +65 kg, d\u00e4r det tog stopp mot den blivande silvermedalj\u00f6ren Csenge T\u00f3th (Ungern).<\/li>\n
  • Adam Rog\u00e5rd<\/strong> och Andreas Tampe<\/strong> n\u00e5dde 8-delsfinal i herrarnas kata. B\u00e4gge vann sina f\u00f6rsta matcher i EM men f\u00f6ll mot rum\u00e4nskt motst\u00e5nd i den andra omg\u00e5ngen. Rum\u00e4nerna delade sedermera p\u00e5 bronset i en t\u00e4vling som vanns av schweizaren Ciril B\u00e4chli.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
