Efter att flera st\u00e4der kommit med bud om att f\u00e5 arrangera VM i thaiboxning 2016 f\u00f6ll \u00e4nd\u00e5 valet tillslut p\u00e5 J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Det var det b\u00e4sta alternativet som vi fick, s\u00e4ger Daniel Norrg\u00e5rd, ordf\u00f6rande f\u00f6r Svenska Thaiboxningsf\u00f6rbundet till budokampsport.se.<\/strong><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>Att Sverige skulle f\u00e5 arrangera VM i thaiboxning har varit klart en l\u00e4ngre tid. Men idag togs ett formellt beslut att det blir staden J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping som f\u00e5r det \u00e5tr\u00e5v\u00e4rda kampsportsevenemanget.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Norrg\u00e5rd, ordf\u00f6rande f\u00f6r Svenska Thaiboxningsf\u00f6rbundet, \u00e4r n\u00f6jd med beslutet.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Dels v\u00e4rmer det ett sm\u00e5l\u00e4ndskt hj\u00e4rta att VM hamnar i J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping, men tillslut var det avg\u00f6rande vad J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping faktiskt kan erbjuda. Och det var den b\u00e4sta l\u00f6sningen f\u00f6r v\u00e5r del, s\u00e5 det \u00e4r oerh\u00f6rt positivt.<\/p>\n<p>Det blir det ett av de st\u00f6rsta kampsportsarrangemangen som n\u00e5gonsin landat i Sverige som kommer i maj 2016. Kinnarps Arena blir VM-arenan.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; Det kommer naturligtvis ha stor betydelse f\u00f6r svensk thaiboxning, men \u00e4ven f\u00f6r svensk kampsport \u00f6verlag. Vi visar att v\u00e5ra st\u00f6rsta internationella t\u00e4vlingar \u00e4r v\u00e4ldigt attraktiva och det har ju om inte annat st\u00e4dernas stora intresse visat under den h\u00e4r resan.<\/p>\n<p>Svensk thaiboxning f\u00f6rfogar \u00f6ver en rad stora internationella stj\u00e4rnor, bland annat \u00e4r Isa Tidblad Keskikangas och Susan Kariuki regerande v\u00e4rldsm\u00e4stare, Alex Tobiasson Harris innehar proffsb\u00e4ltet i organisationen WMC och Sofia Olofsson \u00e4r regerande europam\u00e4starinna.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Text och foto: Jonathan Broberg<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Det \u00e4r klart.
