Du \u00e4r regerande v\u00e4rldsm\u00e4starinna sen tv\u00e5 \u00e5r tillbaka, tror du att dina motst\u00e5ndare har lite mer koll p\u00e5 dig nu \u00e4n vid tidigare m\u00e4sterskap?<\/strong>
\n– Ja, det var en tydlig skillnad f\u00f6r mig g\u00e4llande uppm\u00e4rksamheten under VM i J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping och VM i Vitryssland. Tror att de flesta motst\u00e5ndarna i -57 kg har koll p\u00e5 mig precis som jag har n\u00e5gorlunda koll p\u00e5 de flesta, s\u00e4ger Patricia Axling till budokampsport.se<\/p>\n

Som elitidrottare i en idrott som inte direkt ger ekonomisk ers\u00e4ttning, hur f\u00e5r du ihop livspusslet?<\/strong>
\n– Det \u00e4r en slitsam och spartansk livsstil som inte l\u00e4mnar mycket utrymme \u00e5t annat \u00e4n tr\u00e4ning och studier eller arbete d\u00e4remellan. Planering \u00e4r A och O f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 det g\u00e5 runt. Samt f\u00f6rm\u00e5gan att kunna prioritera och effektivisera sin vardag, ber\u00e4ttar Patricia.<\/p>\n

Hur upplever du skillnaden att kliva in internationella m\u00e4sterskap nu i f\u00f6rh\u00e5llande med n\u00e4r du inledde din karri\u00e4r?<\/strong>
\n– De mest v\u00e4sentliga skillnaderna \u00e4r pressen och f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntningarna utifr\u00e5n som i perioder \u00e4r betungande. Jag har fr\u00e5n dag ett haft v\u00e4ldigt h\u00f6ga f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntningar p\u00e5 mig sj\u00e4lv s\u00e5 det i sig \u00e4r inte annorlunda. Jag \u00e4r alltid nerv\u00f6s inf\u00f6r matcher men ibland av lite olika anledningar. F\u00f6r mig \u00e4r det ett sundhetstecken.. kroppen \u00e4r redo f\u00f6r t\u00e4vling och jag vill vinna, s\u00e4ger Patricia.<\/p>\n

Vad tror du sj\u00e4lv ligger bakom din imponerande medaljsk\u00f6rd?<\/strong>
\n– Nyckeln till min framg\u00e5ng \u00e4r en kombination av olika faktorer. Ett fantastiskt tr\u00e4narteam, Hans och Lex, med bred kompetens, en stor dos tr\u00e4ningsvilja och disciplin. F\u00f6rm\u00e5gan att kunna pressa sig sj\u00e4lv utan motivation som morot. Klubbkamrater och hj\u00e4lptr\u00e4nare med likartade ambitioner eller f\u00f6rm\u00e5ga att pusha i sparring och clinch med mera, s\u00e4ger Patricia.<\/p>\n

Sista fr\u00e5gan, hur skulle det k\u00e4nnas att f\u00e5 st\u00e5 h\u00f6gst upp p\u00e5 pallen \u00e4ven denna g\u00e5ng?<\/strong>
\n– Att f\u00e5 st\u00e5 h\u00f6gst upp p\u00e5 prispallen p\u00e5 VM \u00e4r mitt m\u00e5l och betyder allt f\u00f6r mig i den specifika stunden. F\u00f6r mig \u00e4r det en \u00e4ra att f\u00e5 representera mitt land och visa f\u00f6r mig sj\u00e4lv, mina tr\u00e4nare och mina n\u00e4ra och k\u00e4ra att “vi gjorde det”, avslutar Patricia.<\/p>\n
