Alan Do Nascimento kan bli Årets kampsportare

Alan Do Nascimento har tränat BJJ i över 20 år och har ett välfyllt förråd av internationella medaljer och vann under 2017 även den prestigefyllda tävlingen Abu Dhabi World Professional. Till Kampsportsgalan den 17:e mars är han nominerad till Årets kampsportare.

– I have been winning most of the biggest tournaments  and I really love what I do and to be nominated now as a Athlete of the year is absolutely a great thing. I feel very happy to know that people are noticing the work I’m doing. It´s amazing, skriver Alan i ett meddelande till budokampsport.se

Nomineringen kom som en överraskning  och Alan är tacksam till alla runt omkring honom som gjort det möjligt.
– First I didn’t believe it was me, I got really surprised and now I’m very excited! I have a great team of people that inspires me inside and outside of the mat.
My family in Sweden and my BJJ-students are the ones who motivates me most. Everyday at all time I have them with me, skriver Alan.

“I come from a rough place in Brazil called Favela do Cantagalo”
– I come from a rough place in Brazil called Favela do Cantagalo . I though I never would have the opportunity to not get involved in criminality like my father did and my two younger brothers, a criminal path that got both of my brothers killed. But one day a childhood friend introduced me to BJJ and from day one i knew it was a positive way and a great opportunity to be able to survive without put my life or my family’s life at risk. In other words BJJ made me overcome the odds and I will spend my hole life being grateful for what BJJ did for me and my family, avslutar Alan.
